This is something that I struggle with even as an adult, but it's an important message. I believe that I would be able to enjoy life more and be happier in general if I didn't get so annoyed when friends disappoint me by not reciprocating kind gestures or when things appear to be somehow unequal in friendships and relationships. Your post has inspired me to write a similar letter to my little one. It's been on my to-do list for awhile now and I've thought about the key messages that I want to include, but I just need to sit down and actually do it!
